Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation and refund policy below. For any questions, contact our support team.
Standard Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 30 or more days before the departure date will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of 5% of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made between 15-29 days before the departure date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the departure date are non-refundable.
- No-shows or failure to join the trip without prior cancellation will result in forfeiture of the entire booking amount.
Peak Season & Special Bookings
- Bookings during peak season (December-January, Easter, and Summer holidays) may have stricter cancellation terms.
- Special event bookings, festival packages, and last-minute deals may be non-refundable.
- Group bookings of 10 or more travelers have separate cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
Refund Process
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to cancellations@hikeaholiday.com.
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after confirmation of the cancellation.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking.
- Processing fees and non-refundable deposits (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount.
- In case of partial cancellations (e.g., cancelling specific activities), the refund amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Modifications & Rescheduling
- Trip modifications requested 30+ days before departure are free of charge, subject to availability.
- Modifications requested within 30 days of departure may incur a change fee of up to 10% of the booking amount.
- Date changes are subject to hotel and activity availability. Price differences (if any) must be paid by the traveler.
- Downgrading accommodations or removing activities may result in a partial refund based on the price difference.
Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
- In case of natural disasters, pandemics, government travel advisories, or other force majeure events, we will work with you to reschedule your trip or provide a travel credit for future bookings.
- Travel credits issued under force majeure are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
- We are not liable for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to wars, political unrest, or airline strikes.
Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and baggage loss.
- HikeAHoliday is not responsible for losses not covered by our cancellation policy. Travel insurance can provide additional protection.
- We can assist you in arranging travel insurance through our trusted partners at competitive rates.
