Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the departure date will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of 5% of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made between 15-29 days before the departure date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the departure date are non-refundable.
No-shows or failure to join the trip without prior cancellation will result in forfeiture of the entire booking amount.
Peak Season & Special Bookings
Bookings during peak season (December-January, Easter, and Summer holidays) may have stricter cancellation terms.
Special event bookings, festival packages, and last-minute deals may be non-refundable.
Group bookings of 10 or more travelers have separate cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
Refund Process
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to cancellations@hikeaholiday.com.
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after confirmation of the cancellation.
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking.
Processing fees and non-refundable deposits (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount.
In case of partial cancellations (e.g., cancelling specific activities), the refund amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Modifications & Rescheduling
Trip modifications requested 30+ days before departure are free of charge, subject to availability.
Modifications requested within 30 days of departure may incur a change fee of up to 10% of the booking amount.
Date changes are subject to hotel and activity availability. Price differences (if any) must be paid by the traveler.
Downgrading accommodations or removing activities may result in a partial refund based on the price difference.
Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
In case of natural disasters, pandemics, government travel advisories, or other force majeure events, we will work with you to reschedule your trip or provide a travel credit for future bookings.
Travel credits issued under force majeure are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
We are not liable for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to wars, political unrest, or airline strikes.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and baggage loss.
HikeAHoliday is not responsible for losses not covered by our cancellation policy. Travel insurance can provide additional protection.
